Title: How Could I Miss You If You're Always By My Side
Author: Saida
Summary: Don't you miss me, Takaki-kun?
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Romance
Notes: I was bored in class, so I decided to play with my friend's bag. There's a badge at her bag. This was written on it: 'How can I miss you if you won't go away'. That's where I originally got the title...but I twist it around. That's how I was prompted wrting this drabble...^^ The fluff failed, sadly
Yamada looked around the room until his eyes fell onto one person. Takaki Yuya. He walked over to the other side of the room and sat beside his lover.
“Hi, Yama-chan,” Takaki greeted his lover with a smile when he saw the younger teen coming. Yamada snuggled closer to Takaki. After giving Yamada a peck on the cheek, he reverted his attention to the big screen in front of him.
“I’ll keep my victory, Takaki!” said Hikaru, who was sitting on the floor. They were playing Counter Strike on the play station.
“Oh no you won’t, Hikaru!” Takaki retort.
When Takaki was once again absorbed in the game, Yamada frowned. He wanted Takaki to pay attention to him. Yamada knew it was selfish of him but Takaki was busy with the filming of Gokusen lately, so they rarely spend time together. Suddenly, a light bulb turned on in Yamada’s head. He looked at Takaki with determination. He knew what to do.
Takaki was about to win the game when he something, or rather, someone, went on his lap. “What the-…” he said surprised, losing his concentration. Hikaru took that chance to attack, and for the third time, the younger BEST member won.
Takaki looked at his lap, and saw Yamada looking at him with innocent eyes. Then, Yamada snuggled at his chest. “Yama-chan…” he said.
“Mou, Takaki-kun, play with me,” Yamada said.
“But I need to beat Hikaru,” Takaki replied.
“Takaki-kun,” Yamada whined, removing the control player from Takaki’s hand. “Play with me,” he pouted.
Takaki stared at Yamada, lost of words. Of all things Yamada was, he was never childish or whiny. On the floor, Hikaru was holding his laughter. He knew what was going on with Yamada. Hikaru turned his attention to Takaki.
“Yama-chan, you’re acting kind of different today,” Takaki said. “You are rather clingy. Are you feeling okay?”
Hikaru’s face was literally red for holding his laughter. ‘I can’t believe he asked that.’
Yamada puffed his cheeks. “Takaki-kun, we rarely got the chance to spend time together. And when we finally have the free time, you’d rather play video games, and neglected me for the whole time. Didn’t you realize the hints I gave you for the past hour I sat beside you?” Yamada looked at Takaki with teary eyes. “Don’t you miss me at all?”
When Takaki didn’t say anything, Yamada immediately stood up. But before he could go, Takaki pulled the younger teen back onto his lap. Takaki whispered in Yamada’s ear.
“Yama-chan, how could I miss you if you're always by my side?” Takaki looked straight into Yamada’s eyes. Then, he kissed him, passionately, on the lips. Yamada’s lips parted slightly, allowing Takaki’s tongue to enter. The kiss would probably last longer if it weren’t for Hikaru.
“Alright, break it up you two or I’ll be forced to report to Yabu,” Hikaru said.
“Shove it, Hikaru,” Takaki said, continuing to kiss Yamada. Hikaru just smirked.
